Huge room, very nice design

There's some strange low note noise and vibrations coming from structure of the building, as if the foundation is touching underground tunnels or something. Very unsetting, and it's quite loud.

What was the highlight of Hotel Sense Taipei

There are tons of hotels in the same area where you will get the same for about 40% the price.

Room was cleaned well every day, location is close to Zhongshan Elementary School station and a load of buses, which is very convenient.

1) WiFi was awful. It barely worked. By day 2 they moved me to another room, and it was fine for a day and then went back to usual. I ended up having to seek out coffee shops nearby to work. 2) Breakfast was very poor. 3) Coffee (both at breakfast and in the room) was garbage. 4) The 'rooftop plaza' is an uncushioned deckchair on a normal roof, with no refreshments. 5) There were two earthquakes during my stay, and there was not one piece of info from the staff (in any language). No one came to check on the guests, no one came to check the room, no evacuation measures were in place, the elevators were left running and unchecked by technicians, and most of all there was no announcement, either over the tannoy or elsewhere. It was like the hadn't happened at all.

What was the highlight of Hotel Sense Taipei

A great place to stay, but tick off the breakfast option

The room was huge and the bed is comfortable. The shower comes with a pool big enough to make your body float. The price is totally worth it compared to the other hotel around the vicinity. They also have a rooftop bar.

The internet is not very fast and somehow it's quite difficult to keep connected as it disconnected several times. The breakfast was awful as the options are very limited and the quality is not good. The fried potato or nuggets are cold, the bacon is dry and hard, soba is almost finished although I came at around 8 and the tare is not up to standard, the vegetables for salad is not fresh. Definitely needs improvement on the breakfast.

Very accommodating, polite and friendly!

Communication is a slight problem as they are not well versed in English. I think it would benefit in the long run as English dpesking customers might pop up every now and then.

Third time staying here.

Third time staying here. One of the strong points of this hotel is its spacious rooms. I think they are the largest at this price among nearby competitors. The corner rooms have better views out of the windows, which is quite rare for Taipei hotels.

Could have bought better TVs for a more satisfying viewing experience. The air-con is too weak for the entire room to be evenly cool.

Would recommend this hotel ~ convenient, clean and nice staff

Convenient, clean, nice ambiance and helpful staff. Love the bidet and toilet seat warmer and a wonderful huge bathtub which was relaxing to soak in after a long day of sightseeing.

The water flow on the tap in the bathroom sink was bad. It was a trickle. Breakfast was not good, little choice for Muslims though it is a 'Muslim friendly' hotel.

Breakfast good.

Breakfast good. Good service.

The ventilation system (ceiling of balcony) was making noise throughout the night, so was the traffic on street where the property was situated at (our room was on low floor). No sleep for some of us.

Not a good choice

Clean, short walk to metro station .

Sound proof =0, very noisy , I can hear every car passed by and other room using the bathroom. I didn’t sleep well that night , even the friendly staff changed my room to top floor.

Easy access to public transportation.

Easy access to public transportation. Located nearby many shops and restaurants. Large room. Art Deco style. Fast and easy internet.

Breakfast was barely average. Some areas need renovating.

Front desk clerk Evon Yen was very friendly and let us check out at 1pm All front desk staff members were very professional. We've reserved a day trip, the driver was very polite.

Housekeeping needs improvement. I saw a piece of hair in the bathtub and i saw a cockroach beside the door. The hotel should provide more training to their housekeeping employees. I've attached two photos to prove what I mentioned above. Breakfast Attendants speak Japanese first before Mandarin! Their offical language is Mandarin, I understand they used to be Japanese colony but they should at least speak Mandarin or English before they talk in Japanese. Japanese guests are not superior than other guests. They should respect all guests.
